Genesis 39:20-23
Joseph's life was in constant turmoil and change.
Two important concepts
a. Whatever it is that happened, God allowed it to happen.
b. Whatever it is that happened, God has a purpose in it.
1. There is a difference between difficulties in your life that are the result of your own sin, and those that are not.
God is choosing to use your difficulty for some reason.
The struggle becomes part of the journey. And there is joy in the journey.
2.There is a difference between trials and temptation.
God does not tempt us. He does try us.
God tests you so that you may grow stronger and be more usable for His kingdom.
Temptation is the evil work of our enemy.
Temptation usually comes in various stages.
The right way to deal with temptation- have nothing to do with it!
The privileges and power we have been given should inspire us not to sin.
God rewards faithfulness.
