II Kings 18:1-7; 19:15-19
1. Hezekiah repaired the door of the temple. (II Chronicles 29:3)
We need to pay attention to areas in our lives that we have neglected for too long.
2. Hezekiah cleansed the temple utensils. (II Chronicles 29:18)
If objects in your home are set apart for the Lord, that would be a great beginning of insuring that your
life is consecrated to the Lord.
3. Hezekiah removed idols from the temple.(II Kings 18:4)
If any item is no longer an aid to worship, but rather an object of worship, then it is an idol.
4. Hezekiah re-instituted the widespread celebration of the Passover. (II Chronicles 30:2-3)
The priority of the Church today must always be the proclamation of the gospel.
Results: Judah was strengthened by the spiritual changes they made and there was power in their prayers.
The Church today needs to believe that God is greater than the opposing forces that surround us.
