I John 5:1-5
We tend to measure victory in terms of keeping score.
Spiritual victory comes only when you place all of your trust in Jesus Christ.
1. Be Vigilant
Know your opposition and how he works. (I Peter 5:8)
2. Be Involved
When you are not involved, it is easy to convince yourself that you are being excluded (II Cor. 6:1)
3. Be Courageous
We aren't often forced to stand up and be counted for the Lord. (Joshua 1:7)
4. Be Thankful
Victory is determined by what you choose to dwell upon. (I Thess. 5:18)
5. Be Optimistic
We need to be optimistic about our hope of glory. (Philippans 4:13)
6. Be Reliable
There is more victory in being trustworthy than in achieving the greatest of accomplishments. (Matthew 24:35)
7. Be Yielded
We can only have victory when we yield control. (Luke 22:42)
